A Thai lady identified as Pattara Bumrungsak has called out her Nigerian boyfriend for assaulting her in Malaysia. The young lady shared photos of the injuries he inflicted on her in request for an apology from him.

Taking to Facebook, the Thai lady wrote:

“He is good at talking and lying anything he say to cover up himself because it is what he’s always done in life! I will never make a report or put him in trouble with the police, but i only want an apology from him! I do love this man but after all this i better stop.

And one thing I hate the most is why his brother supports and protects him after all of this! They blamed me for tarnishing the house name because I got beaten by his brother again! Like seriously!!!! if he cared about their safety, he wouldn’t beat me outside of the house like that.

All of our neighbors saw what he did to me and are witnesses. Thank you for my neighbors that help me out last night. GOD BLESS YOU.”

While family and friends are mourning over the loved ones they lost in the Ethiopia Airlines crash that claimed 157 lives, a young man questioned why a gay couple were not among those dead.

The Nigerian man, identified as Temitope Johnson, poked fun at the situation by asking why Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi and his husband Anthony Davis were not victims of the crash.Bisi Alimi who is on honeymoon with his partner in Bali, travelled out the same weekend the crash occurred.

Reacting to the Facebook post wishing for his death, Bisi wrote:

“Hate is too much a burden to bear”- MLK. It is not so much that someone wishes another death because they love differently from them, but it is about using their hate to mock the dead. Just while the families of the dead are mourning, this man uses the situation to wish us dead. I repeat; hate is too much a burden to bear.

The Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday continued its declaration of results of the governorship and state Houses of Assembly elections conducted across the country on Saturday.

But for the first time since 1999 that the nation embraced democracy, INEC declared governorship poll in six states inconclusive. The states affected are Kano, Sokoto, Benue, Bauchi, Adamawa and Plateau.

While INEC has stopped the announcement of results in Rivers State due to the violence that engulfed the state, the commission has also controversially halted the announcement of the governorship election in Kano State which shows the Peoples Democratic Party is leading.

Consequently, the PDP has accused the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, of allegedly playing the script of the ruling All Progressives Congress by declaring governorship elections in these states inconclusive.

It claimed that the commission carried out the action in states where it (the PDP) was in clear lead.

The former ruling party insisted that INEC had become overtly partisan, surrendered its independence to the APC and carried on as “a compromised umpire with obnoxious impunity, thereby sending signals of being heavily bribed by the APC to alter results for its candidates.”

The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, who spoke at a press briefing in Abuja on Monday, insisted that the party was in possession of intelligence reports that INEC was being remotely controlled by the Presidency.

He said this was why the commission had refused to declare the full outcome of the governorship elections in some states.

He said, “The PDP has full intelligence of how INEC is acting on instructions from the Buhari Presidency and the APC in orchestrating unwholesome situations and declaring already concluded governorship elections in Sokoto, Adamawa, Bauchi, Plateau as well as other states as inconclusive, immediately it became obvious that the PDP was set to win.

It was a royal reunion for Kate and Meghan today as the two Duchesses attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, and were seen greeting each other with a friendly kiss on both cheeks.

Kate and her pregnant sister-in-law, both 37, exchanged the warm greeting as they gathered at the entrance with other senior royals, awaiting the arrival of the Queen and Prince Charles.

It is the second joint engagement for the pair in under a week, coming just days after they attended a reception to mark the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles' investiture as Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace.

Meghan was among the first to arrive, and looked elegant in a bespoke all-white ensemble by Victoria Beckham, complete with a chain-print dress, coat, bag and shoes, believed to have cost £9,000.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge looked very much the lady in red in a recycled Catherine Walker coat and matching dress, which she previously wore in New Zealand in 2014, and a Gina Foster hat.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released a comprehensive list of Senators-elect, following the February 23 Presidential and National Assembly elections.

In a statement from the electoral body on Monday, INEC announced that it would present certificates of return to those whose names are on the list on Thursday, March 14.

However, some names were omitted from the list which had a provision for 109 slots, with various remarks as to the reason for the omission.

Very notable among those who were omitted was Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, who won the election for Imo West Senatorial district.

According to INEC, the governor’s name was omitted over the allegation that the returning officer declared him the winner ‘under duress’.
