Photo of Late Emiliano Sala In Morgue Posted Online

Police say they are probing how a sick image of dead Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala lying in a morgue was leaked and posted online.

The 28-year-old's body was taken to the Holly Tree Lodge mortuary in Bournemouth, Dorset, after it was found in the English Channel on February 6 and ahead of a post-mortem examination.

Police branded the act 'shameful' and say they are considering the possibility someone may have broken in and taken a picture before disseminating them online.

It comes just a day after Sala's father Horatio died of a heart attack aged 58. The image was posted on Twitter before it was quickly deleted.

Less than a week after the discovery of his body, an inquest was told the Argentine died as a result of injuries to his upper body and his head.

Yesterday Dorset Police said: 'We are aware that a picture reported to be of Mr Sala's body has been shared on social media channels and are disgusted somebody did this.

'We are investigating this incident and working with a number of ¬agencies to establish how the picture was taken and who is responsible.'

A source told The Mirror: 'One theory is that someone broke into the mortuary and took these pictures.'

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association following his touchline dismissal in the 2-2 draw against Burnley on Easter Monday.

Sarri was sent to the stands in stoppage time during a fractious encounter at Stamford Bridge, although assistant Gianfranco Zola felt the decision was harsh as his fellow Italian “was just trying to tell our players to get in position”.

The FA has said in a statement: “Maurizio Sarri has been charged with misconduct in relation to his behaviour in the 94th minute of Monday’s (22/04/2019) Premier League fixture between Chelsea and Burnley.“The Chelsea manager has until 18:00 on Friday (26/04/2019) to provide a response.”

In a separate incident, referee Kevin Friend is understood to have received a complaint over claims of racial abuse directed by members of Burnley’s backroom staff towards Sarri.

The alleged abuse aimed at Sarri was included in Friend’s report in a tense fixture where David Luiz squared up to Ashley Westwood during a tunnel melee at full-time.

Diego Costa Handed Eight-Game Ban For Insulting Referee's Mother

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has been banned for eight games after being found guilty of abusing referee Jesus Gil Manzano during his side's 2-0 loss to Barcelona.

The Spain international, who rejoined the Madrid club from Chelsea in 2018 -- four years after leaving Diego Simeone's side for Stamford Bridge -- insulted the official's mother, according to Manzano's match report from the La Liga fixture on April 6.

His post-match report stated: "In the 28th minute, number 19 ... Diego Costa was sent off for the following reason: saying to me loudly, in the following terms: 'I s**t on your w**** mother, I s**t on your w**** mother!'"

The suspension, which has been handed down by the Spanish Football Federation on Thursday, rules the 30-year-old Costa out of Atletico's remaining domestic league games this season. He will also miss one game next season.

An English forward has been named as the most valuable premier league player according to CIES.

Harry Kane

Tottenham forward and England international Harry Kane is the most expensive premier league player at the moment according to International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES)

According to CIES, Kane is the most valuable player in the league, worth an eye-watering £171million.

Second in the list is Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling at £161m with Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah ranked third at £160m.

Surprisingly Romelu Lukaku is considered the most expensive player to buy from Manchester United, worth more than David De Gea and Paul Pogba.

Meanwhile, coveted forward Eden Hazard is regarded as Chelsea’s most prized possession at £105m.

Below is the comprehensive list of each Premier League club’s most valuable player.

Kane interestingly left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on crutches and in a protective boot following his side’s 1-0 win over Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash.

Son Heung-min’s strike in the 78th minute gave Spurs a slender lead ahead of next week’s quarter-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium.

However, striker Kane limped off with an injury to his left ankle following a 50/50 challenge with England team-mate Fabian Delph early in the second half.

Below are top 20 most valuable players in the premier league

Harry Kane (Tottenham) – £171 million

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) – £161 million

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) – £160 million

Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United) – £137 million

As the youngster prepares to take on his promotion-chasing former club, one ex-team-mate believes he has what it takes to emulate a superstar.

Che Adams

Birmingham City hotshot Che Adams' playing style is reminiscent of former Barcelona and Brazil idol Ronaldo, according to his old team-mate Matt Baker.

Adams, 22, took a circuitous route to St. Andrews.

The forward cut his teeth in non-league football after failing to make the grade at Coventry City, beginning his career in the depths of the United Counties League before moving up to the Northern Premier League with Ilkeston Town.

Adams' impressive performances in the seventh tier of the English football pyramid caught the attention of Sheffield United, who brought the youngster to Bramall Lane in 2014. Two years later Birmingham swooped to take Adams into the Championship, where he has since established himself as a key part of the Blues first-team.

The 2018-19 season has proved a breakthough campaign for the player, who has netted 22 goals in 40 league appearances to steer Birmingham away from relegation trouble despite suffering a nine-point deduction due to non-compliance with financial regulations.

And his former companions believe his talent is up there with some of the very best to have ever played the game.

“He reminds me a little bit of the old Ronaldo. He had that raw ability. I wouldn’t say he was electric quick but he was powerful and strong," Baker told the Guardian of his former Ilkeston team-mate, who has affectionately been dubbed 'Chele' by the St. Andrews faithful.

"He would brush people off and he could go through people. And he always had a finish at the end of it.”

Baker also recalled Adams' debut at Ilkeston, where he made an immediate impact.

“We were 3-1 down and he came on with about half an hour to go and he scored two and set one up,” he added.

“That was when everyone knew he would be starting. After about a month of him being a first-team player, it was not a matter of if he was going to go, it was when.

"Che played just in behind the striker, in a free role where he was prolific. Every time he scored people were saying it would add an extra few thousand pounds to his transfer fee.”

Adams will now have the chance to put a dent in his ex-employers' promotion chances as he goes up against Sheffield United on Wednesday.

The Blades visit the West Midlands knowing that a win would restore them to second place over Leeds United, who reclaimed the last automatic spot back to the Premier League on Tuesday with a 2-0 defeat of Preston.

Joseph Yobo's first fruit, Joey is 9 today. Though her mom who is usually the first to wish her kids a happy birthday is yet to do that, the footballer has however taking to IG to celebrate his lookalike.

''Happy 9th birthday JOEY. You're the Prince of my heart. May every dream and wish you have not only come through but lead you to an amazing future! You bring endless wonder and love into my life ❤❤❤. I'm grateful to God for having a Son like you 🙏🏽 #myfuture⚽️star🌟 #josephyobojnr🌟'', Yobo wrote

The 29-year-old stretched his tally to four goals this term and helped the Flower of Shanghai in sealing their second win in the Chinese top-flight.

Odion Ighalo

Odion Ighalo scored a brace as Shanghai Shenhua thrashed Beijing Renhe 5-1 in Sunday's Chinese Super League fixture.

Following Giovanni Moreno and Fredy Guarin's efforts in the opening 30 minutes, the Nigeria international scored the third goal in the 35th minute as the hosts maintained a dominant first-half lead at the Hongkou Stadium.

After the restart, the 29-year-old added his second goal in the 66th minute thanks to an assist from Guarin.

Zhang Lu rounded up the emphatic win in the 80th minute despite a late goal from Senegalese forward Makhete Diop for Beijing Renhe four minutes from time.

The Nigeria star who joined Quique Sanchez Flores' men from Changchun Yatai in February has now scored four goals in four games, which makes him the joint top scorer in the league with Israel's Eran Zahavi.

Ighalo was on parade for the entire 90 minutes just like compatriot Sone Aluko who was in action for the losing team.

He will be hoping to maintain the scoring form when his seventh-placed team visit Guangzhou R&F for their next Chinese Super League match on April 12.

The French defender is currently taking in a season-long loan at Goodison Park but remains tied to a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.

Kurt Zouma

Kurt Zouma is yet to decide whether he wants his future to lie at loan employers Everton or parent club Chelsea.

The France international is currently taking in a season-long stint at Goodison Park.

A spell on Merseyside is the second such agreement Chelsea have sanctioned in as many years for the 24-year-old centre-half.

The Blues did tie Zouma to a six-year contract prior to letting him leave for Stoke in 2017, with there a desire on their part to secure his potential.

It is, however, unclear where he figures in the club’s plans, with Maurizio Sarri allowing him to link up with Everton early on in his reign at Stamford Bridge.

Zouma admits he is unable to shed any light on what the summer could hold for him, with no definitive calls having been made on whether he will be heading back to west London.

Quizzed on what happens next, a man who has taken in 31 appearances for the Toffees in the 2018-19 campaign said: “I don't know yet. We have five more games to play and then we will see.

“I am very happy [here]. My aim was to come and play and improve myself and I think I have done that here. I hope we will finish the season very high.

“The manager brought some very good players in last summer and now everyone understands each other.

“We are confident, are playing forward more and are playing better and we believe but the season hasn't finished yet so we have to go again next week and get a win.

“We are more confident. We hold the ball a bit better, we are more compact as a team as we defend together and attack together. We have the crowd behind, which helps us a lot, so we just need to keep on going like this.”

Everton boss Marco Silva has already admitted that he would like to explore the option of making loan moves permanent for Zouma and Andre Gomes.

He said of a French defender with the potential for future growth: “He is helping. But to be honest with you, I see many, many conditions in which he can improve, and he knows because I speak to him every day what I am demanding of him.

“But I am really happy with him, he is improving, trying, he is a good professional, he is happy in our club, he is a good team-mate and a really important player.

“Let's see what we can do or not in the future. But it's also about his opinion, about his future. But we are really happy with him.”

The Reds Egyptian forward netted his half-century of goals for the club faster than anyone else, beating former Anfield star Torres.

Mohamed Salah (middle)

Mohamed Salah became the fastest player to reach 50 Premier League goals for Liverpool as he helped fire the Reds back to the top of the Premier League on Friday.

The Egypt forward netted 10 minutes from time to put Jurgen Klopp's men 2-1 up at Southampton, before Jordan Henderson added a third as the visitors moved two points clear of Manchester City having played a game more.

Henderson had not scored since September 2017.

Salah's brilliant breakaway goal ended a run of eight games without scoring in all competitions and also took him to a milestone, reaching a half-century of league strikes for Liverpool.

In doing so in his 69th match in the competition for the Reds, the former Chelsea and Roma man pipped the previous benchmark of 72 games set by Fernando Torres.

Luis Suarez, the star of Liverpool's last serious title challenge in 2013-14, took 86 matches to score 50 Premier League goals for the club, while Robbie Fowler needed 88 games.

Earlier this year Salah became the fourth fastest player to 50 Premier League goals overall.

The 26-year-old forward scored two goals during a spell with Chelsea prior to moving to Anfield via Roma.

Salah was behind only Andrew Cole, Alan Shearer and Ruud van Nistelrooy and tied with Torres when he netted his 50th goal in his 72nd match on January 21st.

The Egyptian was second fastest to the overall mark in terms of minutes played though, behind only Shearer who took 5,337 minutes to tally his half-century as opposed to Salah’s 5,374.

Liverpool had trailed to Shane Long's early opener before Naby Keita equalised with his first Premier League goal.

The Reds once again came from behind to win and have now collected 16 points from losing positions this season - the most of any side in the division.

Liverpool’s narrow lead is under threat by Manchester City, who hold a game in hand, but they have slightly the easier run-in.

The Reds only face one team in the top 6, Chelsea on April 14, while City must play Tottenham and Manchester United inside a week on April 20 and 24.

The dazzling Belgian will soon begin house-hunting in Spanish capital who has made a name for himself in European football.

Eden Hazard

Chelsea star Eden Hazard will complete talks over a summer move to Real Madrid in the coming days, reports Marca.

Negotiations between the two clubs and the Belgian are almost complete, despite Chelsea's reluctance to sell ahead of their upcoming transfer ban.

Hazard is expected to make an imminent visit to the Spanish capital to search for houses and get to know the city which will soon be his new home.

Unai Emery admits Arsenal would struggle to splash out £75 million on one player - such as Liverpool did to sign Virgil van Dijk - but says the Gunners must spend this summer to improve their squad.

As was shown in January when Arsenal could only bring players in on loan, money is relatively tight in north London, but things will improve ahead of the 2019-20 season thanks to the club’s new commercial deals with Adidas and Emirates.

As it stands, the club is working towards a transfer budget of around £45m, but that will rise should Emery’s side go on and secure Champions League football.

Manchester United have ended their pursuit of Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, according to the Daily Star.

The Wales international's future at the Bernabeu is in doubt, with United often touted as a potential destination for his Premier League return.

But Bale's prohibitive wage demands have cooled interest, prompting the Red Devils to consider younger options like Jadon Sancho and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Bale, Isco and Kroos all on the chopping block this summer

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane wants to offload three of his big-contract stars in Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Isco.

The Daily Mail reports that Casemiro and Marcelo are also on the chopping block as Madrid look to overhaul their playing staff this summer.

The lovely girlfriend of world famous footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed how they met and fell in love.

Georgina Rodriguez reveals it was love at first sight when she first set eyes on Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend has admitted she fell in love at first sight with the football star after they met when she worked in an upmarket Madrid clothes store.

And stunning Georgina Rodriguez claimed the feeling was mutual following their June 2016 encounter.

She told Italy’s Elle magazine: “The first meeting with Ronaldo was at Gucci where I worked as a sales assistant.

“Days later we saw each other again at another brand’s event and it was then we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside of my work environment. It was love at first sight for both.”

The 25-year-old brunette, who swapped Madrid for Turin last summer after Cristiano signed for Juventus for £99million, painted an idyllic picture of life in her new home city with her partner of nearly three years.

The pair have a one-year-old daughter called Alana Martina and Georgina, born to a Spanish mum and Argentinian dad, is also raising Cristiano’s near-two-year-old twins Eva and Mateo and eight-year-old son Cristiano Jr, who were all born of surrogate mothers.

The stunning former shop assistant says she is at her happiest when she is at home with CR7

Georgina admitted in an interview with glossy Spanish magazine Hola! in February she would love to become the football star’s wife but quashed rumours they are already engaged.

She said how her typical day consisted of waking up the children, changing them and having breakfast together before playing with them and preparing lunch, followed by a nap, a gym and spa session and a spot of TV with Cristiano before bed.

She added in the interview, headlined: ‘My life with Ronaldo’: “Home is where my family is. The place where I am happiest is my home, with my children and partner.

“Our house is our refuge, our temple built with so much love.”

Georgina, who grew up in the Spanish Pyrenees city of Jaca, has been a rock of support for Cristiano since it emerged he is being probed by Las Vegas police over 2009 rape claims.

The footballer has denied raping American accuser Kathryn Mayorga at a hotel in the city.

Manchester United are ready to open talks with Real Madrid target, Pogba as they move to offer him a bumper deal.

Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba is demanding a £500,000 per week wage from Manchester United as the club look to open contract talks with the midfielder, according to The Sun.

Real Madrid are said to be preparing a summer bid for the France star, who has long flirted with the Spanish giants.

United are ready to tie him down to a new deal, but Pogba wants to earn the same as the club’s top paid player Alexis Sanchez.

Real Madrid are ready to table a fresh new contract for Raphael Varane, which would see his salary rise from €6 million per year to €9 million.

According to AS, Juventus, Barcelona and Manchester United are all keeping a close eye on the Frenchman's situation, after recent reports stating he is set to leave the club at the end of the season.

However, Zinedine Zidane is desperate for Varane to remain at Santiago Bernabeu and he could become one of the Madrid's highest earners if he pens a new deal.

Samuel Umtiti wants to remain at Barcelona amid ongoing transfer links to Manchester United - according to Diario Sport.

The Frenchman is currently valued at around €70m ($79m, £60m), but he has endured a difficult season at the Camp Nou and faced criticism after a run of poor performances.

Despite Umtiti's recent troubles, Barca are still aiming to retain his services and he is eager to fight for his place in Ernesto Valverde's starting XI.

Romelu Lukaku’s future is “very open”, according to his representative Federico Pastorello, with summer talks planned with Manchester United despite being tied to a long-term contract.

The Belgium international striker still has three years left to run on his current deal, but a move away from Old Trafford at some stage has been hinted at.

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu said the La Liga champions are planning to offer superstar Lionel Messi a new contract.

In an interview with ESPN, the Barca boss says he sees his star man as having many years left at his best and wants him to be a one-club man.

"We would like to renew his contract, that's the idea," he said. "He is young – you can see that [in his performances] – and he still has two years on his deal. He's always improving, always innovating. I believe he still has many years in front of him and in the coming months we will sit down with him so that he has many more years at Barcelona."

Former Super Eagles striker Peter Odemwingie has announced his retirement from football at the UEFA's Equal Game conference at Wembley on Wednesday.

Osaze Odemwingie

Former Nigeria, West Brom and Stoke, striker Osaze Odemwingie announced his retirement from football at UEFA’s Equal Game conference at Wembley on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old was capped for Nigeria more than 60 times, scoring at the 2014 World Cup, and scored 36 goals in 129 Premier League appearances between 2010 and 2016.

Odemwingie was the subject of a peculiar story on Deadline Day in January 2013.

Believing he was moving to QPR from West Brom, the striker drove to Loftus Road, only to be refused entry to the stadium after both clubs said that no fee had been agreed.

On his retirement, Odemwingie was quoted as saying by Skysports, “It’s an emotional day, so many memories go through your head.

“I didn’t know how to do it or where to do it, but I think this is the right place to do it.

“Wembley is a place with a lot of history in football.”

Odemwingie, whose last professional appearances came for Indonesian side Madura United in 2017, said he intends to embark on a coaching career.

“The next chapter is slowly building up to a coaching career and hopefully I will be coaching in the Premier League one day,” he said.

Pele has been admitted to a hospital in Paris, according to reports. RMC Sport radio say the Brazilian legend had a 'tetanus crisis' but the condition is not life-threatening.

Pele is said to have had a 'very high fever' and will be observed by doctors.

The World Cup winner was in the French capital after meeting PSG star Kylian Mbappe. He reportedly felt ill during the night before being admitted to the hospital.

One of the world's most popular footballers, Cristiao Ronaldo has heaped praises on his former coach, Zinedine Zidane.

Ronaldo and Zidane

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has hailed the man management skills of his former coach at Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, Marca reports.

Under the Frenchman, the Portugal international won three consecutive Champions League trophies, before departing to The Old Lady last summer.

"I think Zidane knows how to handle the team in an intelligent way," Ronaldo said in the documentary called 'Zidane, Realement Madrid' that RMC Sport 1 will broadcast on Wednesday.

"it's not an easy situation because all the players like to play a lot, but he knows how to work intelligently and he manages to involve all the team."

Sergio Ramos is another player that praised his current coach in the documentary, highlighting Zidane's success over the years.

"Zidane's career speaks for itself, both what he did as a player and what he does as a coach," he noted.

"He found a way to transfer the talent he had as a player to his role as coach and manage a dressing room.

"He does a fantastic and unique job, and the results are not a coincidence."

The French centre-back, said to be a long-term target of Man Utd, was rumoured to be looking for a new club after spending eight years at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Raphael Varane

Real Madrid have no intention of selling Raphael Varane this summer, the Mirror claims, meaning any interested parties would have to match his £429 million ($565m) release clause.

The French centre-back, said to be a long-term target of Man Utd, was rumoured to be looking for a new club after spending eight years at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Now, however, it appears the Spanish capital side will hold onto the 25-year-old unless he rocks the boat with the club's hierarchy.

Arsenal sent a scout to watch long-term target Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella, 22, in action against Juventus last night, according to The Star.

The Gunners have already watched the Italy star - who featured in a 2-0 defeat - twice this season.

Cagliari value him at £43m and a bid around that level is said to depend on the Londoners qualifying for the Champions League.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has hinted he could sell former goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois this summer, according to The Mirror.

The 26-year-old Belgian has been criticised since his £40m (47m euros) move from Chelsea in the summer.

Zidane reinstated Keylor Navas after returning to the job and played his son, Luca, in the 3-2 win over Huesca when Navas was rested.

Boca Juniors are looking to sign Arturo Vidal, according to Fox Sports.

The Argentine club is looking to convince Vidal to be the latest big-name star to come back to South America, although they know it will be difficult to convince the Barcelona midfielder to leave Europe.

The club's leadership feels a deal is possible, although it still remains a "dream" deal at this point.
